Physiotherapy at Rowan House Vets
Kerry Olive is a fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist providing in-house services at Rowan House Vets.
With over 11 years of experience working with animals as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a variety of veterinary environments. Kerry has gained a wealth of experience in the care and handling of animals of varying sizes, species, and temperaments. Over the years she has also had a menagerie of pets including, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and a chameleon. In practice, She had a very keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and believed that there should be more support and care for them pre and post-surgery. This developed into a real passion for rehabilitation. With her own dog Poppy suffering with multiple musculoskeletal problems in her twilight years, the improvement to her quality of life with physiotherapy made this even greater.
Kerry then decided to pursue this interest and passion further by qualifying as a canine sports massage therapist in 2017 and an animal physiotherapist in 2019. She has set up physiotherapy clinics within veterinary practice and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the variety of conditions we can aid with rehabilitation.
