Roberto is originally from Burgos, Spain where he obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from a University in Zaragoza. He moved to the UK in 2016. Roberto is always keen to keep his knowledge and skills current and has recently attained a variety of achievements including a Veterinary Osteoarthritis management accreditation and a certificate in Cardiology. For over 25 years Roberto has enjoyed performing all kinds of soft tissue and Orthopaedic procedures and building trustworthy and friendly client relationships are very important to him. At home Roberto spends his time taking care of his young daughter as well as taking care of his aviary birds, dogs Pippa and Foxy and cats Oscar and Olive.
Salvador qualified in Spain and after working in a different area of the veterinary profession, decided to go back to small animal practicing in January 2022. Salvador was very happy to join the team at Rowan House Vets and enjoys working in one of the very few independent practices remaining in the country. Salvador is busy re-studying alongside practising alongside the team, and is enjoying our new facilities. Outside of work, Salvador enjoys meeting up with family and friends, learning about nutrition and wellbeing, going for walks in nature ( especially on mountains) and numismatics.
Declan has been proud to call Rowan House Vets his new home after graduating from the University of Surrey in July 2023. Declan thoroughly enjoy the wide variety of cases that come through the door each day and has a keen interest in surgery, with plans to pursue certifications in years to come! At home, Declan looks after 2 gorgeous Burmese cats called Dudely and Chester. During his downtime, Declan enjoys exercising at the gym with a spot of bird-watching on the weekends!
Esther qualified as a vet from Cambridge University in 2016. Since then she has worked in small animal and exotic animal veterinary practices around the country. She has a special interest in exotic animals (small mammals, birds, reptiles, wildlife) and she has recently received an additional qualification in exotic animal medicine and surgery (GPCert Exotics), so she is always very happy to see your more unusual pets. She has two big lop-eared rabbits at home, who are both very naughty! In her spare time Esther enjoys playing badminton and going to dance lessons. She also loves to go travelling, particularly combining that with volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries.
Rebecca is a registered veterinary nurse and has been in the industry for 5 years. Her ideal day in practice is running nurse clinics or taking care of the days inpatients. Rebecca has achieved her Oral Care certificate, which enables her to perform dental scale and polish procedures. Alongside this, Rebecca has a special interest wound management. Her favourite breed is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. At home she has a Pugalier called Bear and a Shih Tzu called Coco.
David qualified in 2007 and spent 5 years working under a British Small Animal Anaesthetist, before moving into emergency and critical care for 14 years. David then spent a further year as Head of Theatre, before settling in Norfolk and joining Rowan House Vets in October 2023 as our Deputy Head Nurse. Here, he has settled in quickly and has been supporting Rebecca with team development.
Tracey is now in her 8th year of working at Rowan House Vets (formally Wymondham Vets), supporting the team as the Head Receptionist. Tracey has recently accepted the opportunity to thrive as the Practice Manager. She believes that we have an excellent team that goes that extra mile for our clients and patients, and she looks forward to welcoming former and new clients with their pets to our clinic. Outside of work, she likes to relax by the lake fishing with her husband, looking after her grandchild and crafting. Tracey is also a collector of ‘Charlie Bears’.
Ellie joined the team in July 2017 and has supported Rowan House Vets in the role of Practice Manager for a number of years. Although she has enjoyed it, she took the decision in 2023 to continue in a Deputy Practice Manager role, which allows her to prioritise her nursing as well as supporting the team. Ellie is an oral care nurse, which means she can do minor dental procedures like descaling and polishing and can give our clients advice on how to care best for their pets teeth. Outside of work Ellie is kept busy with her daughter Isla, Dachshund Oli and Golden Retriever Elsa.
Jess started working with us in 2018 and supported us as our Head Nurse. Recently, she decided to take a break from clinical nursing, but is enjoying supporting the team from her new admin role. Jess is busy working on many projects to develop our patient care standards. Jess has a special interest in nursing intensive care patients within the hospital wards, and supporting new nurses through their careers – something she hopes to come back to in the future. Jess has two cats at home – Squeak and Tash – both rescues who came home for a ‘trial’ and never left! Outside of work, Jess enjoys photography, painting and travelling.
Charlie qualified in 2010 and went to work at the Animal Health Trust, where she was a ward nurse until she came to us at Wymondham Vets (now Rowan House Vets) in February 2017. Charlie is an oral care nurse, which means she can do minor dental procedures like descaling and polishing and give our clients good advice on caring for their pets’ teeth. At home, she has a cat called Scabby. Scabby was a stray with awful skin and no fur, who Charlie nurtured back to health.
Kerry qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2021 following her training in a London veterinary hospital. She enjoys all aspects of nursing, but has a particular interest in medical nursing. She is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to all her patients and being their voice, which is why she has recently become an ISFM cat friendly advocate. In her spare time she loves travelling, being out in nature and giving her cat Nova and dog Jasper the constant love and attention they crave!
Chloe joined Rowan House Vets as a registered veterinary nurse in July 2023 after graduating from university in June 2022. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but has particular interest in surgical nursing and emergency and critical care. Outside of work, Chloe can be found travelling, heading to the gym or spending time with her pug Milo.
Nina joined Rowan House Vets in October 2023, and has been nursing for an incredible 22 years! Time does fly when you’re doing something you’re passionate about. Nina has worked in primary practice, and referral orthopaedic practice in permanent and locum RVN roles. Nina enjoys nurse clinics and looking supporting pets through life stages, helping them recovery from injury or illness. Outside of work, Nina enjoys travelling and exploring, and particularly loves Norwich for its history, culture and shopping and the surrounding countryside for walking and kayaking.
Suzy joined the team in September 2022 and is one of our Student Veterinary Nurses studying at the College of Animal Welfare. Suzy enjoys spending her time in our theatre and hospital wards as well as conducting in house laboratory tests. Suzy aspires to continue learning more about animal welfare, animal behaviour and physiology and in the future hopes to explore her interest of nursing exotic species. Outside of work, Suzy enjoys visiting nature reserves, practising yoga and baking, and at home she takes care of her cat Starlie and her bunnies Oreo and Biscoff, with her partner, Andy.

Grace joined the team in November 2022 and is one of our Student Veterinary Nurses. Grace has years of experience of working with animals and completed her Animal Management Extended Diploma at Easton College in 2017. Grace loves all species of all sizes, but her soft spot lies with dogs – especially Staffordshire Bull Terriers, but is yet to have one of her own! Grace enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, however is most passionate about hospital care including building a rapport with the client to provide the best experience possible.

Jordan joined Rowan House Vets in December 2023 and has experience working in a 24hr small animal hospital. Jordan lives on a farm and owns an American Cocker Spaniel called Harley, who she enjoys going on adventures with. Jordan’s favourite part of working as a veterinary care assistant is making sure patients are comfortable during their stay and have a positive experience at the vets. Outside of work Jordan studies Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Sophie has worked for Rowan House Vets since October 2022. Sophie was previously working in a different vet practice for 5 years and has always had a love for animals. Sophie loves getting to know the clients and their pets (maybe giving a treat or two and lots of cuddles). In her spare time she enjoys playing bowls for Norfolk and her local village team, and spending time with her dog Roxie (Collie Cross).
Katy joined the team in September 2020 after returning to the Veterinary industry. Initially Katy joined us as an animal nursing assistant for 2 years before moving across to support the day-to-day running of the clinic in reception. Katy is an all-round animal enthusiast, but is most passionate about anything Spaniel-related! Katy is owned by ‘Pudding’ who is a Sprocker Spaniel that keeps her on her toes day and night and she wouldn’t have it any other way! Outside of work, you will find Katy at her allotment or in her ‘sanctuary’ with her family.
